Areas of Practice

Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is sometime the best choice. Do not spend down your pension or 401k to throw good money at bad debt. Sometimes people feel a stigma with the idea of filing bankruptcies, believing that they should not walk away from a debt. However, the law recognizes the concept of a fresh start, and it is actually better for not just you but for the economy as well. Once you start over, you can take back control and contribute in ways that you are currently not able.

Debtor Representation before the IRS

Having worked for the IRS as a collection agent before starting my legal career, I learned from inside how the system works. From Offers-in-Compromise to setting up Installment Agreements, let me assist you so that the IRS does not overcollect. In some cases, you may not even need to pay if you are considered currently not collectible. The IRS has a tolerance rate as well, and different threshholds to determine what action that it will take.

Wills and Estate Planning

Everyone needs a will. Many should plan the estate they leave behind when they pass. Without such planning, your loved ones may not be in line to inherit your hard earned assets and funds in the way you intend. A good plan and at a minimum a will will give you peace of mind that interlopers will be held at bay when you no longer can speak up for what you believe is right.
